Singer Flavour loses his father

Nigerian singer, Flavour lost his father to the cold hands of death today, May 22, 2024.

The singer took to his official handle to announce the passing of his father. Using his mother tongue, the Igbo language, he wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter), “Chukwu wetelu, Chukwu ewelugo” which translates to “God gave and God has taken”.

In another post, the singer shared a video of him singing to his late father who was in a wheelchair, and captioned it “Nna m, papa Ijele, Rest well” which translates to “my father, Ijele’s (his nickname) father, Rest well”.

Our condolences go to Flavour and his family as they mourn their father. May his soul rest in peace.

Cubana ChiefPriest’s brother was interviewed by Lucky Udu last year, where he revealed that the brother he grew up with abandoned him to struggle as a phone repairer after becoming a billionaire. Things have not been going well for him since.

Burna Boy is now looking for him to gift him 50 million Naira after his back-and-forth with Cubana ChiefPriest.

Burna Boy: “Cubana ChiefPriest, you are an Aza man and a billionaire but your younger brother is repairing phones in Alaba market. Since you can’t help him, I will help him for you. I have $30k for him right now.”
