Global Superstar Fireboy DML Earns Diamond Certification For ‘Peru’ In France

Nigerian singer Fireboy’s hit single “Peru” has achieved diamond certification in France, marking a significant milestone in his career.

Released in 2021, “Peru” enjoyed massive commercial success globally, charting in multiple countries including the US, UK, and France.

The song’s remix, featuring British superstar Ed Sheeran, further propelled its global success, reaching the top 100 in over 20 countries.

“Peru” has garnered over 450 million Spotify streams and has received numerous certifications, including gold in Denmark, 2X platinum in the UK, and RIAA platinum in the US.

With its diamond certification in France, “Peru” joins an elite group of Nigerian songs, including Oxlade’s “Kulosa”, Ayra Starr’s “Rush”, Burna Boy’s “On The Low”, and Rema’s “Calm Down”.
