It is reported that about 1.7 million rams and he-goats have arrived in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in preparation for the upcoming Hajj pilgrimage.
These animals are intended to be used for the ritual sacrifice, known as Udhiyah or Qurbani, which takes place during the Hajj and Eid al-Adha celebrations .
The arrival of such a large number of animals aims to meet the demand from pilgrims who will perform the sacrifice as part of the religious ritual.
