The Jigawa State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a 26-year-old man, Nura Mas’ud, who allegedly set his grandmother ablaze.
Ekwutosblog gathered that the horrific incident occurred in Mu’azu village, Dan Gwanki ward, Sule Tankarkar Local Government Area, Jigawa State, resulting in his grandmother’s tragic death.
The police confirmed the arrest through DSP Lawan Adam, the command’s Public Relations Officer, stating that the incident was reported on October 8, 2024, around 4 pm. The motive behind this heinous act is yet to be disclosed.
