Veteran Nollywood actor, Jerry Amilo has laid his daughter, Chidera Amilo, affectionately known as Princess, to rest after her untimely death on October 4th.

The painful occurrence happened just months after what should have been a joyful reunion between the actor and his daughter.

Recall that Amilo had shared their reunion on August 21 through his social media page, expressing his joy after two years of separating with his daughter, Chidera which he fondly called “his princess”.

Sadly, the joy was short-lived when Chidera died weeks after their reunion though the cause of her death remains undisclosed

Taking to Instagram, Amilo shared his grief with his fans and followers with emotional clips of the funeral.

He captioned the post:

“Good night My Angel ❤ MAY YOUR SOUL REST IN PERFECT PEACE AMEN Still staying FOCUSED ♥✅ .”

In a heartfelt interview with Emmanuel Ehumadu, Akintola shared that finding someone she could spend forever with took a long time, but unfortunately, that person is now gone.
