According to the Nigerian Army, Private Ruth, a soldier who recently asked for help on social media, is mentally ill. In an exclusive interview with AIT, Ruth strongly denied what the military said, saying that they made up the story to avoid dealing with her problems.
Through tears, Private Ruth talked about how her superiors treated her unfairly and how bad her working conditions were while she was in the service.
According to a recent statement, Ruth was fired because of her mental illness, and the Nigerian Army said she had been to therapy.
Although the Army has admitted to what happened, Ruth has not accepted it. According to her interview with AIT, “Nobody believed me.”
