The Federal High Court in Lagos State has struck out the Naira abuse case against Cubana Chief Priest, Pascal Okechukwu ¹. Here are the key points:

– *Case Struck Out*: The court struck out the case following the adoption of terms of settlement between Cubana Chief Priest and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

– *Terms of Settlement*: The terms of settlement included Cubana Chief Priest entering into a bond with the EFCC to be of good behavior, engaging in rigorous sensitization and campaign against the abuse of Naira, and paying a sum of N10 million to the consolidated revenue fund of the Federation.

– *Caution and Discharge*: The court cautioned Cubana Chief Priest and discharged him.

– *Charges*: Cubana Chief Priest was charged with three counts of allegedly spraying and tampering with Naira notes during a social event at Eko Hotel in Lagos, contrary to the Central Bank Act of 2007.

– *Plea*: He had pleaded not guilty to the charges and was granted bail in the sum of N10 million.
