We’re pleased to announce that the Academic Staff Union of Universities, Imo State University chapter (ASUU-IMSU), has suspended its strike.
After successful negotiations, ASUU-IMSU has suspended its industrial action. Key resolutions include:
Payment of delayed promotion benefits
Addressing salary disparity
Streamlined staff assessment and promotion
Resolution of selective salary payment and arrears
Payment of earned academic allowance
Remittance of Union dues and pension deductions
Implementation of annual salary increments
Review of IMSU’s Treasury Single Account inclusion
Enhanced university funding and autonomy
Academic activities will resume immediately.
