Former BBNaija season four winner and actress, Mercy Eke has spoken about why she did Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery.
Ekwutosblog reports that Mercy during a recent interview, said she underwent BBL in Nigeria in 2018 without researching her surgeon.
The reality TV star said she was influenced by the trend at the time and she did not think about the potential risks.
Mercy added that she would carefully and thoroughly investigate the surgeon’s track record if she ever considered undergoing surgery again.
She said, “To be very truthful, it was initially because of the trend. I did my body in 2018.”
“I think, at the time, it was just the trend, maybe peer pressure. Everyone was doing it.”
“I had a beautiful, slim body, but my stomach was a little too much.”
“I did my body here in Nigeria. I didn’t do any research on the doctor beforehand.”
“Maybe I was just ignorant. I didn’t think about the risks.”
“But now, if I have to touch my body, I have to see the works of that doctor. How many deaths?”
“How many complications? I’m going to ask a lot of questions before anybody can touch my body again.
