On Thursday, suspected Boko Haram terrorists attacked a commercial bus in Yobe, killing three passengers identified as Christians.
The bus was stopped near Kamuya village in the Biu Local Government Area of Borno State, and four people identified as Christians were abducted.
Three of them were later executed by the terrorists in a nearby bush.
The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has condemned the killing and urged the government to take measures to protect citizens regardless of their religious affiliation.
