The former Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, has once again honoured the invitation of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over allegations of misappropriation of funds.
Accompanied by his legal team, Bello arrived at the EFCC office on Tuesday morning, driving himself in a black Hilux. His appearance follows the recent Supreme Court judgment that dismissed states’ challenges regarding the constitutionality of the anti-graft agency.
At the prior hearing on November 14, the EFCC had sought an adjournment until November 27, noting that the 30-day summons window issued in the case was still active.
