In a shocking turn of events, the Kaduna State House of Assembly has recommended that former Governor Nasir el-Rufai face prosecution for alleged abuse of office and money laundering during his administration!
An ad-hoc committee investigation revealed that loans obtained under el-Rufai’s leadership were misused, and due process was often ignored. The committee has called for security and anti-corruption agencies to investigate and prosecute el-Rufai and other indicted officials for their involvement in contract fraud, public fund diversion, and money laundering!
