PDP Ward Executives Suspend Former Governor Samuel Ortom

Allegations: Ortom was accused of leading and abetting the snatching of election materials during the recent Ward Congresses
Other Suspensions: Three other officials were also suspended alongside Ortom, including the state Deputy Chairman of PDP, Isaac Mffor, and the state Publicity Secretary, Bemgba Iortyom
Duration of Suspension: Ortom and the other suspended officials were suspended for one month, pending further disciplinary action
Ortom’s Political Alignment: Ortom is a close ally of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike and was one of the five governors of the PDP who formed the G5 and declared support for Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the time.
