Political analyst Daniel Bwala claims that certain government agents lack faith in President Tinubu’s leadership, as a cabinet reshuffle looms. Explore the implications of these revelations for the administration.”
Daniel Bwala, a former spokesperson for the ex-Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, has asserted that certain government officials lack confidence in President Bola Tinubu.
Bwala indicated that these officials fear that aligning themselves with Tinubu’s administration may provoke public discontent.
He made these remarks during an appearance on Channels Television, in response to Tinubu’s anticipated cabinet reshuffle.
On Wednesday, the Presidency officially announced a cabinet reshuffle.
Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, confirmed that the President is considering adjustments to his Council, although he did not specify when the Ministers would be reassigned or removed.
In his response, Bwala stated: “It is unfortunate that some government agents exhibit an attitude that suggests they do not have faith in the president. They seem to prefer a cautious approach; they believe that relying on the government could lead to backlash from the populace. They are attempting to be overly clever.”
