Catholic Community Under Siege Cries Out for Assistance
Ekwutosblog gathered that the Residents of Ayati Village in Ukum County, Southeast of Makurdi, march to protest military negligence in the massacre of 11 people in Ayati without military intervention on July 2, 2024.
Prior to that attack three people were murdered by Fulani Ethnic Militia in Gwer West. Military negligence or complicity with terrorist attacks have been cited by citizen advocates in several local governance areas of Benue.
