Renowned Nigerian actor, Williams Uchemba, has urged women to refrain from asking men for items they cannot afford on their own.

The father of one emphasized that a man is unlikely to marry a woman who makes such demands, encouraging them to adopt a more responsible approach.

He noted that his wife only requests items that are necessary for the family, not personal indulgences, which has always kept him attentive to her needs.

In a video posted on August 14, Uchemba stated:

“There is a mindset that is hindering many women in this generation. When you wonder why there are no husbands, this is the reason. I don’t understand why you believe you have the right to ask a man for things you could never afford, even if you worked for ten years. It is a destructive influence, and until you address it, some of you will remain unmarried because no man will want to bring you into his home.

This behavior has become widespread, with many women now thinking it’s acceptable to make outrageous demands.”

The actor continued:

“Why are you asking for a G-Wagon or an iPhone 15 when you know you can’t even afford an iPhone 10 with your current savings? This is a manifestation of greed. It is linked to a ‘Jezebelian spirit,’ and until you confront it, no man will welcome you into his household.”

He suggested that for married couples, a wife should appeal to her husband for something rather than requesting or demanding it.
