A Chinese firm, Zhongshan Fucheng Industrial Investment Co. Limited, is attempting to seize a £20 million judgment awarded to Nigeria in a UK court.
The firm is also seeking to confiscate two Nigerian presidential jets and two properties in Liverpool.
This is due to a dispute between Zhongshan and the Ogun State government, which has yet to pay an arbitration award of $74.5 million.
