Amidst Wizkid’s recent Twitter tirade, Davido remained focused, unveiling his highly anticipated second collection with Puma at the brand’s flagship store in New York.
The latest drop features an array of sportswear essentials, including tees, sneakers, jackets, and bags.
At the launch event hosted by Rolling Stone’s Mankaprr Conteh, Davido reflected on his humble beginnings, citing his initial goal of getting airplay on Nigerian radio.
Regarding the new collection, Davido noted, “The first drop was a test. Now, we’re taking it to the next level.”
The unveiling comes as Wizkid claimed he rejected a Puma deal, stating, “They couldn’t afford to pay me what I wanted.”
Davido’s supporters swiftly defended him, prompting Wizkid to respond with a scathing tweet.
