Economic Hardship: President Tinubu Being Schooled To Rejig Administration’s Economic Policies

Residents of Niger State have called on President Bola Tinubu to as a matter of urgency rejig his economic policies and listen to the cries of the ordinary man.

These were some of the views harvested at a town hall meeting organized by the Senior Special Assistant on community engagement for the North Central region held in Minna, the Niger State capital.

Following the end bad governance Nationwide protest that rocked some parts of the country from August 1 to 10 with some states recording casualties, destructions and looting of properties, President Bola Tinubu decided to send his foot soldiers who are the Senior Special Assistants on Community Engagements to hear directly from the people through a townhall meeting across the nation.

The engagement brought together persons living with disabilities, youth groups, women’s associations, and traditional and religious leaders among others.

Muhammed Muhammed who is the Vice Chairman of, the Joint National Association of People with Disabilities, says they are worst affected by the just-ended nationwide protest and want the federal government to act fast.

Representatives of the women and youth groups also shared their solutions to the current economic challenges.

Having listened to all the concerns and solutions of the participants, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement for North Central, Abiodun Essiet said Tinubu is committed to making lives better but seeks more understanding from Nigerians.

According to her, coming down personally to hear from the people will create an actionable impact when reporting back to the president.
