Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Enugu Zonal Command, have arrested twenty-three internet fraudsters in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.
The suspects were arrested on Thursday, May 2, 2024, following actionable intelligence on their suspected involvement in internet-related activities.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission made this known in a post shared on its Facebook page on Thursday.
Items recovered from them include one laptop and mobile phones.
The suspects would be charged in court as soon as investigations are concluded.
