Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, received a delegation sent by Abia State Governor, Alex Chioma Otti, on a sympathy visit to Maiduguri, last week.
During the visit, Governor Zulum was presented with a N100m cheque in support of the victims of the Maiduguri flood disaster.
Maiduguri, Borno State capital, was hit by a devastating flood on the 10th of September, 2024, displacing thousands of people and many others killed.
Since then, State Governors, corporate entities, business people, individuals, INGOs, and NGOs have sympathised with the Government and people of Borno State about the incident.
