Former Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, has said that gr££d, selfishness & envy are much greater sins than unlawful s+x, homos+xuality & g@mbling.

He said this while speaking at a virtual Ramadan lecture on April 7, 2024.

According to TheCable, he said: “We say we are Muslims, we go to the mosque & pray & Allah says prayer stops evil deeds & wrong deeds. Why is it that we go to pray all the time, we fast all the time & then we are committing this evil? How do you get a Muslim to become a minister or governor & all he is thinking of is how he is going to st£al public funds to build a big house for himself or have billions for his children & deny people?

We even have had state governors who said they were practising sharia, they were leading the implementation of sharia & they were st£aling money & buying hotels.

Greed, selfishness, wick£dness, envy. These are much greater sins than zina (illegal s+xual intercourse), homos+xuality & g@mbling. The sins of the heart are greater than the sins of the body
