Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai has taken a legal action against the Kaduna State House of Assembly Committee of inquiry for the protection of his fundamental rights.
The legal action initiated by the ex-governor’s attorney, Abdulhakeem Mustapha, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, disputed the findings of the Kaduna Assembly Committee that made an inquiry into El-Rufai’s administration and accused him of corruption allegations.
The legal action against the Kaduna State House of Assembly is in response to their assertion that his administration, spanning eight years diverted the sum of ₦432 billion, resulting in substantial debt obligations for the state.
