Chief Pius Akinyelure, Chairman of the NNPC Board of Directors and APC chieftain, has sounded the alarm: Nigerians must return to farming to combat food scarcity!
Speaking at an event in his hometown of Idanre, Ondo State, Akinyelure emphasized that farming is the way out of the current economic hardship .
“Where will we get food if we don’t farm? Importing is too costly! We need to secure our farms and ensure our farmers are safe to produce enough food for our nation” .
- Let’s heed the call and get back to our roots (literally!) to ensure food security for Nigeria!
