Actress Halima Abubakar has cried out for assistance. In a video she shared on her IG page today February 18, Halima revealed she has been struggling to make ends meet.

Halima tearfully expressed exhaustion and desperation.

‘’People are confused about what is going on. I am not feeling fine up till now. I am just good at being strong and pretending that I am okay. This is me but everyday you see me post picture with filter. That is a filter on Tiktok, not me. This is how I look. Some of you will be laughing. What is funny? Will I be lying? why will somebody say I am lying? Lying about what? That I am sick?’’

Halima said she moved to the village for a whole year while battling her ailment. She dismissed claims that she is ‘’acting and falsely claiming’’ she is sick. She said she has practically been begging people to help her with finances to help her with her medication.

‘’’’I have so many things medicals to do. My MRI, my BP. It’s 157. What I am thinking? I have not done a movie for more than six years now. What do people want? For me to d!e? do you want me to k!ll myself? I went for MRI three times.’’

Speaking further, she said

‘’There is nothing wrong with me medically now’. Everybody in Nollywood, they don’t talk to me anymore because of this singular thing. Everybody . I go from DM to DM trying to see who will help me. I was rich. I sold everything, my cars. Everything! You will think they would sympathize with me, selling three cars, not doing anything. How would I live when I am not working’’

While posting the video, Halima asked Nigerians to her state governor and her Senator so they can come to her aid.

“Help me. 1003475060 zenith. I’m tired of begging tag ppl pls. Please tag Kogi state government. HE @alhajiahmedusmanododo

HE @officialgybkogi. Senator @natashaakpoti’’

Some operatives of Agunechemba are armed robbers, kidnappers – Soludo’s security aide

‎The Special Adviser to Governor Chukwuma Soludo on community security, Ken Emeakayi, has lamented the alleged infiltration of criminally – minded people into the state’s newly established Agunechemba security outfit.

‎Reacting to reports that some operatives of Agunechemba are now extorting people, using guns, Emeakayi said that every member of the outfit would be properly verified, to fish out the bad ones in the system.

‎He also warned about the improper conduct of some of the operatives who act as if they were above the law, adding that a situation whereby they extort people they are expected to protect, is unacceptable.

‎He said, “The reason the governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, established Agunechemba and Operation Udo ga achi, is to drive away criminals in the state. It is not for the operatives to start tormenting people they are expected to protect.

‎“We have found out that some of the people work as Agunechemba during the day and become kidnappers and armed robbers at night

‎“Some of the operatives claim that they have not been paid and that is because they have refused to present themselves for verification as required by law. They have been dodging from this verification exercise since January.

‎”Those who want to be paid should go for profiling to enable us know if they are actually members of Agunechemba and to ensure that they do not have questionable character.

‎“Very soon, anybody who claims to be a security operative in any community in Anambra State without subjecting himself to the profiling process, will be treated like a criminal because such a person has something to hide.

‎“The Anambra State Homeland Security law is very clear on the issue of knowing where every gun in the state is at any point in time and those keeping them.

‎We must know the full identity of everyone who claims to be a security operative in the state.

‎“We are, therefore, pleading that people should be alert and expose any shortcoming they discover on the part of the operatives.”
