England manager Gareth Southgate has left out seasoned internationals Jordan Henderson and Marcus Rashford from the provisional Euro 2024 squad.

The squad, unveiled ahead of the tournament kickoff on June 14, features several new faces, including uncapped players Jarrad Branthwaite, Curtis Jones, Jarell Quansah, and Adam Wharton.

The extended squad of 33 players will be trimmed to 26 by June 7, the day England faces Iceland in their final pre-tournament friendly.

Notable inclusions are Manchester United’s Kobbie Mainoo, Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze, and defensive stalwarts Lewis Dunk and Ezri Konsa.

Manchester City’s Jack Grealish makes the cut despite injury setbacks, and Luke Shaw is also included despite fitness concerns.

Rashford, a key figure in past tournaments, has been left out after a below-par season with Manchester United, netting only eight goals.

Henderson, previously a mainstay, misses out after a turbulent season split between Al Ettifaq and Ajax.
