IMO APC CHAIRMAN ATTENDS SOUTHEAST APC 2024 COLLOQUIUM IN NNEWI, ANAMBRA STATE

In a resplendent display of political unity and empowerment initiatives, the Anambra State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) hosted the much-anticipated 2024 Southeast Colloquium in Nnewi. The event, held today witnessed a convergence of distinguished personalities, with Imo State Governor, Dist.Sen Hope Uzodimma and Hon. MacDonald Ebere, PhD, the State Party Chairman of Imo APC, gracing the occasion with other leaders of the party from Imo State.

The highlight of the event was the thought-provoking lecture titled ‘De-Marginalization of the South East and Integration to National Politics,’ delivered by the erudite Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Prof Charles Esimone, FAS. Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, CON, the driving force behind the event, emphasized the imperative of integrating ndị Igbo into the national political landscape.

In his remarks to the press, Hon. MacDonald Ebere, the Imo APC Chairman, lauded the collaborative efforts of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah and the APC leadership in Anambra State for organizing such a significant event. He emphasized the importance of fostering unity and cooperation among APC members across the Southeast region to strengthen the party’s presence and influence.

Furthermore, Hon. Ebere highlighted the role of grassroots empowerment in driving sustainable development and political engagement. He commended Senator Ifeanyi Ubah’s commitment to uplifting the lives of constituents in Anambra South Senatorial District through various empowerment programs and initiatives.

Hon. MacDonald Ebere also reiterated the need for continued dialogue and collaboration among APC stakeholders in the Southeast, emphasizing the shared goals of promoting good governance, economic prosperity, and social cohesion in the region, a role he submitted Dist.Sen Hope Uzodimma has played successfully in the last four years as Governor of Imo State and Chairman of Southeast APC Governor’s Forum.

The culmination of the Colloquium will be a Mega Empowerment Rally that will hold at the Ifeanyi Ubah International Stadium on Saturday.

Emma Eneukwu, APC Deputy National Chairman (South), Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, APC National Vice Chairman (Southeast), Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori, APC Deputy National Chairman (North), Hon. Dayo Isreal, APC National Youth Leader, Sen. Emma Anosike, and Sen. Uche Ekwunife, representing Anambra Central Senatorial District. Others are; Barr. Ugo Agballa, Enugu State APC Chairman, Chief. Basil Ejidike, Anambra State APC Chairman, Dr. Mary Alile-Idele, APC National Woman Leader, Hajiya Zainab Abubakar Ibrahim, APC National Deputy Woman Leader, Alh. Muhazu Bawa Rijau, APC Zonal Chairman, North Central and many more.
