Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw expressed her dissatisfaction after learning that the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) had raised the fuel price to N855 per liter.
Her driver alerted her to the increase when he noticed that the Mobil filling station had halted fuel sales. The actress shared a video showcasing the new price at an NNPC fuel station and criticized the rapid escalation of fuel prices.
Some social media users pointed out that the prices in their areas were even higher, with some purchasing fuel for N950 or more. Additionally, it was noted that certain fuel stations were selling fuel above N1000.
This development left many Nigerians feeling disheartened, wondering when the continuous rise in fuel prices would cease.
