The Katsina State Government has disbursed a grant of N8.4 billion for the renovation of 100 secondary schools in the state through the Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) project
The key highlights of this development are as follows
– The event was held in the Rimi Local Government Area (LGA) of the state.
– Cheques were presented to School Based Management Committees (SBMCs) for phase three of the project.
– At least 75 secondary schools are expected to be constructed under the project.
– These schools are expected to be commissioned in August 2024.
– Since the inception of the current administration, AGILE has renovated at least 388 secondary schools in the state.
