Kechi Okwuchi Commemorates 19th Anniversary of Devastating Sosoliso Plane Crash
Nigerian songstress and America’s Got Talent sensation, Kechi Okwuchi, has paid a poignant tribute to mark the 19th anniversary of the ill-fated Sosoliso plane crash.
A former student of Loyola Jesuit College, Kechi was aboard the doomed Sosoliso Airlines Flight 1145 when it tragically crashed while attempting to land at the Port Harcourt International Airport, Rivers State, on December 10, 2005, claiming the lives of 106 people, including 60 of her schoolmates.
In a heartfelt post on X, Kechi honored the memory of her schoolmates and the other victims of the catastrophic plane crash.
“Today marks the 19th anniversary of the Sosoliso plane crash. I hope the 60 angels continue to watch over me as I navigate life’s journey, fulfilling God’s purpose for me. I hope their loved ones, who have supported me since the beginning, are proud of me and that I can continue to bring smiles to their faces,” she wrote.
In a subsequent post on Facebook, Kechi reaffirmed her commitment to living a life that would make the 60 angels and their families proud.
