A tragic incident occurred at a lounge on Ago Palace Way in Okota, Lagos, where a club bouncer, Kingsley Otti, allegedly stabbed a suspected hoodlum to death during an altercation in the club’s car park.
The Lagos State Police Command confirmed Otti’s arrest following a report by the club manager on Monday.
According to Benjamin Hundeyin, the command spokesperson, the incident occurred at about 3:30 am on Monday.
The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, became unconscious after being stabbed and was rushed to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The police have visited the scene, inspected the corpse, and taken photographs.
The body has been deposited at the Mainland General Hospital Morgue, Yaba, for autopsy.
Hundeyin assured that the investigation is ongoing.
