Despite a court order restricting protest areas, demonstrators took to the streets, roads, and Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Park in Lagos, expressing their frustration with the government’s handling of the economy.
Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, stated that the police are prioritizing safety and security for both protesters and non-protesters.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Adegoke Fayoade, visited the protest ground and found the demonstrators peaceful.
