Chido Obi-Martin’s 15-minute hat-trick

On Saturday at Carrington, the Danish wonderkid needed 14 minutes to score a hat-trick in the Under-18 clash.

The towering striker made his debut last weekend with a 27-minute cameo against Sunderland, a month after joining the club from Arsenal.

The 16-year-old needed 13 seconds to open the scoring for his new team. He capitalised on a defensive error, rounded the keeper and slotted home.

He scored his second four minutes later and completed his superb hat-trick in the 14th minute, per Manchester Evening News.

The Red Devils confirmed Obi-Martin’s signing earlier this month after he turned down a chance to sign his first professional contract with the Gunners.

The young Dane hit the headlines after scoring many goals for Arsenal last year.

“Very happy to sign with this amazing club, time to focus and achieve all my dreams. Thanks to everyone who has helped me get this far,” he said after signing with the Red Devils via Eurosport.

Premier League approve Obi-Martin transfer

Ekwutosblog earlier reported that the Premier League approved Chido Obi-Martin’s transfer to Manchester United.

The 16-year-old completed his medicals earlier in the summer while waiting for the league’s five-step verification process. He is seen as a big part of the Red Devils’ future.

Erik ten Hag angers Man United fans

Ekwutosblog also reported that Erik ten Hag angered Man United fans by making controversial comments about the Tottenham defeat.

The Dutchman said he had chosen to “deny” and “ignore” the 3-0 loss because of Bruno Fernandes’ overturned red card.
