The Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria carried out accreditation procedures for the College of Medicine, Rivers State University.
The final accreditation visit for Rivers State University’s MBBS programme was successful, and the university now has full accreditation.
Following the assessment, the state’s training quota for medical students was increased from 200 to 300, thanks to the support of Governor Siminalayi Fubara and the Governing Council, led by Justice Mary Odili.
Appreciation is extended to the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, led by Registrar Fatima Kyari, for their continued collaboration towards strengthening the health system.
