Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the much-anticipated all-electric G-Class, also called the G 580, with EQ Technology, estimated to be $180,000.
This was disclosed by a co-founder of TwinBirch, Sawyer Merritt, and shared on his X handle on Wednesday.
The G 580 with EQ Technology comes equipped with a 116 kWh lithium-ion battery that gives it enough energy to run.
It can also be driven in up to 33.5 inches of water, 200 kW max charging speed, 12.3-inch touchscreen, and the battery is protected by a 1″ thick skid plate. It weighs 127 lbs and many others.
Mercedes-Benz has truly outdone itself with the G 580, combining its signature style and performance with a commitment to sustainability.
This electric powerhouse is set to change the game in the world of luxury vehicles.
All-electric G-Class, with deliveries expected to begin later this year.
In 2022, Mercedes-Benz announced that it was going to release an electric G-Class by the end of 2024.
