Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi can officially call each other husband and wife. On May 24, People confirmed the two wed in a private, discreet ceremony last weekend. The event was an intimate one with only a few of their loved ones in attendance, including Bongiovi’s parents, Jon and Dorothea, and Brown’s parents, Kelly and Robert.

“It was a very low-key, romantic affair with their closest family with them as they said their vows,” a source told The Sun. The source also noted they plan to have a larger ceremony later this year.

Brown and Bongiovi’s relationship is what modern, Gen Z romance dreams are made of. They first met online during the summer of 2021, and quickly became an item. Brown hard-launched their relationship on Instagram in November of that year, and really put their love in the spotlight when they made their red carpet debut at the British Academy Film Awards on March 13, 2022.

After two years of dating, the couple got engaged. Once again, they took to Instagram to announce the news. Brown shared an emotional black-and-white snap of Bongiovi hugging her from behind as she displayed a massive engagement ring. She captioned the image, “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all ????,” a clear reference to Taylor Swift’s “Lovers.”

Their engagement came with quite an eventful story. Brown opened up to Jimmy Fallon about how Bongiovi popped the question underwater while on a dive; she accidentally dropped the ring, which her then-fiancé so valiantly saved.

Leading up to their union, Brown disclosed how she felt about their wedding preparations to Women’s Wear Daily, noting that “it’s such an exciting time in my life.” Although she was finding the whole process “so fun,” she shared she wished to keep the more intimate details private.

“All of us be one” Miss Universe South Africa’s X handle tweets in Nigerian pidgin after Nigerians slammed them for claiming Miss Universe Nigeria Chidinma Adtshina following her successful outing at the Miss Universe.

Recall that Chidinma was vilified by South Africans because her father is Nigerian. They said she’s cannot be a representative of South Africa so she was forced to drop out from representing South Africa.

She ended up representing Nigeeia at the Miss Universe pageant but some South Africans wrote petitions calling for her to be disqualified.

In spite of the vilification, Chidinma Adetshina is now Miss Universe Africa and Oceania after emerging first-runner up at the beauty contest which held in Mexico.
