National Commissioner Supervising Ondo Ogun & Osun States; Prof. Kunle Ajayi remarks at the ongoing Stakeholders meeting on Continuous Voter Registration(CVR) exercise for 2024 Ondo State Governorship Election at Akure Ondo State.
The Commission is indeed cognisant of the limited time to the Governorship election, consequently, it has decided to conduct the registration at all the 203 Ward level registration centers and the Ondo State INEC headquarters.
Please allow me to reiterate that the Commission is keen on enhancing its inclusive election management capacity at all levels. As such, permit me to use this opportunity to call on all Persons With Disability (PWD), PWD-focused CSOs, and groups to encourage any PWDs to update their status on the registration portal, primarily, so that the Commission can get a more adequate static of PWD’s to enable the Commission provide adequate numbers of assistive devices for their use in the coming Ondo Governorship Election.
