Nigeria and Egypt have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen defence-industrial cooperation.
The signing ceremony took place on Wednesday at the Ministry of Defence’s headquarters in Abuja.
Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar Kana, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Defence, signed for Nigeria, while Major General Walid Hamouda, Assistant Minister of Defense in Egypt, who led a delegation, signed for the North African country.
The signing of the MoU is geared towards promoting deeper bilateral and defence cooperation in accordance with the prevailing laws and regulations of the two countries.
