Here is the Nigerian Army rank structure for Junior and Senior Cadets:

*Junior Cadets:*

1. Cadet (Cdt) – This is the entry-level rank for new recruits.
2. Second Lieutenant (2Lt) – After completing officer training, cadets are commissioned as Second Lieutenants.

*Senior Cadets:*

1. Lieutenant (Lt) – After gaining experience and completing additional training, Second Lieutenants are promoted to Lieutenants.
2. Captain (Capt) – Lieutenants who demonstrate leadership potential and complete required training are promoted to Captains.

Note: The Nigerian Army also has a separate rank structure for Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) and Warrant Officers, which includes ranks such as:

– Lance Corporal (L/Cpl)
– Corporal (Cpl)
– Sergeant (Sgt)
– Staff Sergeant (SSgt)
– Warrant Officer (WO)
– Master Warrant Officer (MWO)
