Nigerian rapper Dremo has intensified the ongoing rap feud sparked by Ghanaian superstar Sarkodie’s recent track ‘Brag’, in which Sarkodie asserted his dominance as Africa’s top rapper.
Following Sarkodie’s bold claims, a cross-border rap rivalry erupted, with Dremo being the first to retaliate, swiftly followed by Ghanaian rapper Lyrical Joe.
The exchange has captivated fans online, evolving into a heated showdown.
In his response to Sarkodie, Dremo not only rebuked the Ghanaian rapper for name-dropping Nigerian stars Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, and Asake but also contested Sarkodie’s self-proclaimed throne of African rap.
Mocking Sarkodie’s assertion that his sole competition lies with American rappers Kendrick Lamar and J Cole, Dremo delivered a scathing blow.
Undeterred by Sarkodie’s dismissive reply, Dremo has upped the ante with a second diss track titled ‘If You Cedis When Are You Ghana Reply’, a witty play on Drake’s album title ‘If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late’.
