Nollywood veteran Francis Duru is grieving the loss of his 15-year-old son, Ifeanyi, who passed away recently.
The actor took to Instagram to share the news, posting a picture of his late son and a heartfelt caption.
Duru’s post read, “My champ!!my lion…you fought like a lion…if this is the way He wants it, so be it, I still judge you faithful…Ifeanyi my champ….I will miss you son….I will forever love you…Rest in peace, son…rest…I give you thanks, lord!”
Fellow celebrities and fans offered their condolences in the comment section, with many expressing shock and sadness at the news.
Ifeanyi’s former schoolmate also paid tribute, remembering their time together in school.
The cause of Ifeanyi’s death has not been disclosed.
He would have turned 16 in December.
