In a demonstration of solidarity and support, Owerri Municipal APC Women, led by the Party’s Woman Leader in the municipality, Hon. Mrs. Ijeoma Uba, paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Engr. Chidiebere Emeribe, the newly appointed Sole Administrator of Owerri Municipal Council. The visit was aimed at congratulating him on his new role and expressing their unwavering support for his administration.
Hon. Mrs. Ijeoma Uba, in her remarks, lauded Hon. Emeribe as an enigma of progression and a beacon of integrity, honesty, and sincerity. She highlighted his remarkable contributions in various capacities before his present appointment, noting that his new political assignment is a testament to his dedication and exemplary character. Mrs. Uba emphasized that Governor Hope Uzodinma’s decision to appoint Emeribe has significantly benefited the people of Owerri Municipal, ensuring that a man of reputable character is at the helm of affairs.
On behalf of Owerri Municipal APC Women, Mrs. Uba expressed their heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Emeribe, affirming their full support for his leadership. She also praised the State Chairman, Hon. Macdonald Ebere, PhD, for his humility, love, and skillful leadership, which have made the APC a prominent force in the state. She reiterated the women’s readiness to support the 3R administration’s agenda and programs, ensuring their successful implementation both within and beyond the municipality.
In his response, Hon. Chidiebere Emeribe expressed his gratitude to the constellation of Party Women who visited him, as he thanked them for their steadfast support. He acknowledged the vital role of women in building a progressive society and thanked them for their confidence in his leadership. Emeribe underscored the importance of unity, noting that a unified bond among the women would lead to progress and visible growth.
Hon. Emeribe encouraged the women to continue giving support to the Governor of Imo State, Dist.Sen Hope Uzodinma and the Party leadership under Hon. Macdonald Ebere, PhD. He assured them that his administration would maintain an open-door policy, welcoming their input and appreciating their contributions. He emphasized the critical role of women as moulders of future leaders and urged them to always promote positivity and reject negativity.
He concluded by assuring the women of a partnership focused on their welfare and growth, both as mothers of society and as dedicated party members. Hon.
