The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has officially expelled its suspended National Vice Chairman for the South-East Zone, Ali Odefa, over allegations of anti-party activities.

The expulsion, executed by Oguduokwor Ward in Ebonyi State’s Onicha Local Government Area, follows a disciplinary process initiated after Odefa’s suspension on September 11, 2024.

A Federal High Court ruling on November 29 upheld the suspension, paving the way for the party’s final decision.

The ward’s disciplinary committee reviewed the allegations and recommended the expulsion, which was later approved by the executive committee on December 11, 2024, in adherence to the PDP constitution.

With this action, Odefa’s membership in the party has been terminated.
