PLATEAU STATE MONTHLY ALLOCATIONS FROM FEDERATION ACCOUNTS GOES TO DEBTS SERVICING OF PAST ADMINISTRATION—SGS ARC. Jatau.

It has been disclosed that Plateau State Government still have outstanding 250 million Naira as debt to pay every month after all the money accrual to it from the monthly allocations from the Federation account are deducted in the services of loans left by past administration.

This disclosure was made by the Secretary to the Government of the State, Arc. Samuel Nanchang Jatau during a live phone in programme (Light House Chat) of the Nigeria Television Authority, Jos Network Centre.

The SGS, who say that lack of money is slowing down the pace of projects plans to carry by the Governor Caleb Mutfwang’s led administration, further says that the are trying their best to block all loopholes so that money will be available for Executing all projects in the state.As he added that the state Government generated not less than 3billion every month from internally generated revenue following the blocking of loopholes in the area of revenue generation.

Concerning cushion the suffering of the masses in the State, Arc. Jatau disclosed that apart from the fertilizers that have been distributed to farmers, more than two hundred and fifty bags of More fertilizers are still expected for onwards distribution to farmers in the state. He further disclosed that the time is now administration, under the able leadership of Governor Caleb Mutfwang has concluded it plan to procure solar driving tricycles for the Jo’s Bukuru Metropolis.

In the area of Peace, the SGS call on Plateau people irrespective of tribes and religions differences, to embrace one another in peace and harmony for sustainability of the Plateau dream and heritage of togetherness.
