The police in Anambra says it has arrested some of the suspects involved in the attack of the local government Secretariat in Ogbaru local government council, which leaves some buildings including the traditional rulers council building set ablaze.
The police in a statement by its spokesperson Tochukwu Ikenga made available to newsmen, said despite the suspected hoodlums being repelled during the attack, manhunt was conducted which led to the arrest of three suspects.
According to the police, the suspects who are presently being detained at the police headquarters in Amaubia, are undergoing interrogation with the aim of arresting other members of the gang.
The Anambra police commissioner CP Nnaghe Obono also promised to ensure that perpetrators of the dastardly act are brought to face the full wrath of the law.
