President Tinubu appoints Wike’s ally, Emeka Woke as the CEO of Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority.

Emeka Woke was the Chief of Staff to Wike during his time as Rivers State Governor and recently resigned as the Commissioner for Special Projects to Governor Sim Fubara.

– *Reason*: Woke is a close ally of FCT minister Nyesom Wike

– *Previous positions*: Wike’s Chief of Staff during his tenure as Governor and more recently held the position of Commissioner for Special Projects under Governor Sim Fubara

– *Role*: Woke is expected to spearhead initiatives aimed at harnessing the region’s water resources for agricultural, industrial, and environmental purposes, while also ensuring sustainable water management practices
