R. Kelly’s Daughter, Buku Abi, Reveals Childhood Trauma in Explosive Documentary
A shocking new documentary features R. Kelly’s children, including daughter Buku Abi (Joanne Kelly), sharing heartbreaking allegations of misconduct by the embattled singer.
In the trailer, Buku Abi tearfully recounts her experiences, stating, “He was my everything… but one moment changed my life forever.”
R. Kelly’s ex-wife, Drea Kelly, also appears, emotionally discussing the alleged harm inflicted on their children.
“What he did to me, he did to my kids… He’s a monster,” she says.
The documentary, set to release on October 11th, explores the devastating consequences of R. Kelly’s actions on his family.
Buku Abi vows to be truthful with her son about his grandfather’s past, stating, “I won’t take him to prison to meet R. Kelly.”
R. Kelly’s career imploded in 2019 following his arrest and conviction on federal racketeering and sex trafficking charges related to minors’ sexual abuse.
