The EFCC chairman, Ola Olukoyede, has announced that the commission will soon prosecute some banks and their top officials for financial crimes.
This move is part of the EFCC’s efforts to sanitize the banking sector and ensure compliance with financial laws and regulations.
Olukoyede made this declaration at the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria’s 17th Annual Banking and Finance Conference, where he emphasized the need for robust enforcement of financial laws to prevent criminal activities in the banking industry.
