The Orlu-Owerri road, especially the infamous Umuaka spot, used to be a nightmare for travelers. The road was so bad that trips were filled with frustration, delays, and constant fear of accidents.
Our people seem to forget how dangerous and exhausting it was to travel this route. The Umuaka spot, in particular, was a major obstacle, turning short trips into long, difficult experiences.
Thankfully, the road was rebuilt and restored by the #PeoplesGovernor Hope Uzodimma.
What used to be a risky and stressful journey is now smooth and easy. As we look forward to more progress, let’s take a moment to appreciate the work that has been done and how far we’ve come.
