Bimbo Akintola, a veteran Nollywood actress, recently opened up about her decision to remain unmarried, citing the loss of her “forever love” who passed away.

In a heartfelt interview with Emmanuel Ehumadu, Akintola shared that finding someone she could spend forever with took a long time, but unfortunately, that person is now gone.

She emphasized that she won’t marry just for the sake of marriage or to please societal expectations. Akintola believes in being true to herself and values honesty in relationships. She’s too old to ignore red flags or do things just to make others happy.

Although her personal loss has been significant, Akintola still believes in marriage but would only consider it if she finds someone with whom she sees a future. She’s willing to wait, even if it takes until she’s 82, as long as it’s with someone she knows she can do forever with.
